Heating

The house is heated by radiators.

How to use the radiators

Find the radiator valveEach radiator has a control valve on the side. Where the valve is numbered, use the numbers to adjust the heat.

Increase the heatTurn the valve to a higher number for more heat. A setting around 3 is normally a comfortable starting point.

Reduce the heatTurn the valve to a lower number if the room becomes too warm. Do not force the valve past its normal stopping point.

Allow time to warm upAfter changing the setting, allow around 30–60 minutes for the radiator and room temperature to respond.
If all radiators remain cold after adjusting the valves, please contact Timeless Retreats. Do not alter boiler, electrical or internal heating-system settings.

The household bins are outside at the front of the property.

Bag household rubbishPlease place general household waste into a tied rubbish bag.

Use the outside general-waste binTake the bag to the bins at the front of the property and place it fully inside the appropriate general-waste bin.

Recycling

Separate recyclable itemsKeep clean recyclable packaging, bottles, cans and cardboard separate from general household waste.

Use the clearly marked recycling binPlace recycling into the appropriate outside recycling bin. Flatten cardboard where possible so the bin does not become overfilled.
Please keep the pavement and entrance clear and do not leave rubbish bags beside the bins.
